exercise calories no longer in my diary djb4138 — Oct 09, 2017 04:01PM PDT

My exercise calories used to show up in both my feed and in my food diary. Since I joined premium they are in my feed but no longer in my food diary. I have done a force quit on MyFitnessPal app and shut down my phone, rebooted it. Still doesn't show up. Please advise

Hello djb4138,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. In reviewing your account, I can see you subscribed to MyFitnessPal Premium on 10/4/17. In reviewing your diary for each day since then I see exercises logged to your diary. Specifically the following:
10/4 – iOS steps adjustment and MapMyFitness exercise(s) logged
10/5 – iOS steps adjustment
10/6 – iOS steps adjustment and MapMyFitness exercise(s) logged
10/7 – iOS steps adjustment and MapMyFitness exercise(s) logged
10/8 – UnderArmour steps adjustment and MapMyFitness exercise(s) logged
10/9 – no exercise logged today

Are you not seeing any of these listed within your account? If so, would you be more specific as to what exercises you aren’t seeing in your account?

We look forward to hearing back.

Best,

Ripley

Since Sunday 10/8 there are no exercise calories added back in on my Food diary page. I have exercised every day and used Map My Run, just as i previously did. All i see on my home page other than "nutrients remaining" are the ads that I thought joining premium would alleviate. Scrolling down below the ads i finally come to my feed. How can i get rid of the ads and just see my feed AND see my exercise calories?
If you look at my food diary for 10/8 you will see no exercise calories added in yet the exercise did show up in my feed.
I have exercised daily and logged it on Map my Run. It used to cross over, now it is not.

I should specify that the ads i'm seeing on my feed are on the app on my phone, not on the computer version. Yet my exercise no longer shows up on my feed or as exercise calories in my food diary on either the computer or my phone app

Hello,

Thanks for getting back in touch with us.

If you are seeing ads on your phone, these may be MyFitnessPal blog stories, as well as other MyFitnessPal and Under Armour related material. These are not removable, however with your premium membership you should not be seeing ads from 3rd party companies.

Looking into the date of 10/8/17, we do see exercise data on our end added to your account for this specific day.

If you are still seeing an issue with current days, and are seeing ads please contact us here directly with a screen shot of what you are seeing on your end.

Please note: while we do provide technical support through our technical forums, our Premium Expedited Support is only available through our email channel. Please feel free to contact us here in order to take advantage of that.

i still don't see my exercise calories added into my food dairy. Can you please address this? I've shut down my phone and re-booted it. Didn't make any difference. The exercise calories used to show up, then just stopped. I didn't change any settings. They now don't show up in my feed or my food dairy.
Please reply to this issue

djb4138,

If this is the case, you likely elected the premium option to turn off your exercise calories from affecting your calorie goal from the day.

You should be able to adjust these settings, here.
