Syncing Issues with Misfit Shine 2 dsnyder74 — Nov 06, 2017 10:32AM PST

I am switching from Fitbit to Misfit and have set up both the Misfit and MFP apps to connect to each other but the steps I take aren't showing up in MFP. I believe, based on the previous issues that have been reported and the fixes that were given, that I am doing everything right. But I guess that's not the case because it's still not working.

Need some help - thanks!

P.S. I'm on an Android phone.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Could you try relinking the Misfit account to see if that will help?

The connection with your Misfit Shine account is handled within the Misfit app. Once you have logged into your account, click “Me” at the bottom right corner of the app. From there you click on the “tool” icon in the top right corner of the screen, then click on apps. You can scroll down to find the MyFitness Pal app and click “disconnect” there..

Once that is complete, can you please log in at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/apps and make sure that Misfit is not visible as a Connected Partner? If it is, click Misfit and then Disconnect. Now you can link once more from the Misfit app.

Once linked, be sure to set Misfit as the Steps source in MyFitnessPal. You can do this under the Menu Bar or More tab by tapping Steps>Misfit.

I did nothing at all but next time I logged into each app, both are now linked to each other.
