food name change mjwilley — Nov 09, 2017 07:13AM PST

I need to change some of the names of the foods I entered at the beginning. Example... Bread - Ezekiel Bread... to... Ezekiel Bread....
I followed directions on how to change. Go to food tab, then my foods, then search foods. It would not bring up any foods I typed in, even tho they are on my list, HELP

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. I can see Bread – Ezekiel Bread under your Recent/Frequent lists, but I do not see any food items created under your account. If you would like to create your own item for a food you have regularly, you can create a custom food entry for the item, or save the item as a Meal.

Instructions for creating a food item can be found here

Hope this helps,

Thank you Bruce for responding. However, I was wanting to change how a food(s) already entered on my food list reads. When i search for an item that i have made and find on the brought up list that item, when entered on my list it reads "homemade" then the item name. I wanted to know how to change the name on the list to reflect the item name and not the "homemade".

Currently you cannot change the way an item’s name appears in your Diary or on your Recent/Frequent lists, but we will definitely consider it for a future update. Thank you for the suggestion.

If you wish for an item you have regularly to have a different display name, you can create your own personal food item and name it as you wish. You can also save the item as a meal, but the saved meal name will not appear in your Diary, only on your Recent/Frequent lists.

All the best,
