Why can't the MFP count steps on an Samsung/Android device? MrMikeDugan — Nov 12, 2017 04:02PM PST
Why can't the MFP count steps on an Android device? With all the problems that seem to exist with MFP syncing steps the Samsung Health App (lots of finger pointing I suspect), it sure would be nice if UA took it out of the hands of Samsung and just used the phone's accelerometer to track steps and running. In other words, if application integration/sharing isn't going to work, do it yourself.

Hey thanks for posting your question. You can connect using Google Fit instead of Samsung Health and select Google Fit as your source for step tracking in MyFitnessPal.
