Hello, I accidentally purchased a year subscription, I cannot afford this right now, Can I please get a refund? I cancelled the membership immediately. I have not used the Premium features. Please help me. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org. I left a review explaining what happened in the comments section and gave you guys 5 stars, I just need this resolved asap :( THank you so much

We are sorry to hear you have not found what you were looking for in the Premium option. We would love to hear some additional feedback on what exactly you did not like about it, or what you anticipated it would be. We plan on adding improvements and additional features to the Premium option and your feedback would be very helpful.
In order to cancel your current subscription, you will need to send a request for cancellation of your renewal using the same platform on which you originally signed up on. As noted upon sign up, the initial subscription is non refundable, however you can cancel auto renewal at anytime and your current subscription will continue until that initial period has lapsed.
For purchases made via the Play store, typically you can do the following to cancel:
Tap the Play Store App
Select the Menu
Select your MyFitnessPal subscription and cancel

Please note deleting your account will not cancel Premium, you must cancel Premium in order to avoid future charges.
Once cancelled if you would like to continue to use the free version, you may do so with the same log in information as you were using under your Premium account.

I have had the exact same happen to me, it is way to easy to click on the subscription button and I didn't see anything saying that I couldn't cancel. I also cancelled immediately without even using the app as I didn't want it in the first place but was looking around to see what might be available that would suit. Your response has not been helpful at all.

It looks like you are on a free month trial of Premium. For trials done via our Android app, the subscription is managed in your Google Play Store account controls.
