Kilojoule adjustment severely negative? shoarw — Jan 11, 2018 07:06PM PST

Whenever I sync my exercise from the Apple Watch to the MyFitnessPal iOS App, I sometimes get massive Kilojoule adjustments that negate the exercise I did and more.

You can see it here in this image but there's also other days where the same thing happens. I don't understand why it's so high?

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. It looks like it may be related to the double adjustment. Could you try a fresh reinstall of the MyFitnessPal app and relink your Apple Watch and HealthKit to see if that will help?

Once reinstalled, in MyFitnessPal tap More>Steps>Apple Watch and you should be taken to a page to turn some Categories On. Turn them on and then tap More>Settings>Sharing & Privacy>HealthKit Sharing and you’ll be taken to another page to turn On more Categories. This should relink your Apple Watch and HealthKit.

Hope this helps,

Hi Bruce,

I've done what you said and did some more exercise this morning but the issue still persists, (, Should I just manually remove it instead?

Thank you for trying that for us. I am not able to see the duplicate adjustment line on our end. Would you mind trying a couple of things for us to see if it helps?

Could you first try clearing your cache or deleting your cookies? The following links should assist you with either:

If you are using Safari 6 or later, the correct instructions are here

If you are using Internet Explorer 8 or higher, please note that you should uncheck the “preserve data for favorite websites” option if you have MyFitnessPal favorited or bookmarked.

If clearing your cookies and cache does not resolve the problem, will you please try unplugging any internet equipment (routers, modems, wifi stations) for at least 30 seconds to give them a chance to power cycle? If your router is to blame, this should sort things out.

Please let us know if you continue to have an issue.
