Password bjoann7 — Mar 30, 2018 06:39AM PDT

I don't know my current password and per your advice want to change it. I have put in what I thought was the password, but it does not match what you apparently have on record. I must have changed it and didn't write it down. Should I give you the original password and my user name to verify who I am.

Hello,

bjoann7 – Please do not give us your original password, our support staff does not collect or have the ability to view member’s passwords. And we definitely wouldn’t want that information posted here in our public forums.

bjoann7, fjg1234567, and Hugsnpats – You can change your password by logging into our full site at http://www.myfitnesspal.com. Mobile app users should log in using the same username and password they use in the app. Once you’ve logged in, click the “My Home” tab, then “Settings,” then “Change Password.”

If you’ve forgotten your password, you can request a password reset email by clicking the “Forgot password or username” link on the sign-in screen of our apps, or by visiting this link in a web browser.

If you are still having trouble, we may need additional information to verify the account and get additional private details. Since this is a public forum, posting those personal details is not something we recommend. Please contact us here, so we can triage this with you through email.

Best,
