STEPS NOT BEING IMPORTED FROM MY LINKED FITBIT KevinKroencke — Mar 30, 2018 08:13AM PDT

I NOTICED SINCE YESTERDAY MY STEPS (EXERCISE) IS NOT BEING BROUGHT INTO MY FITNESS PAL DIARY ? AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT MIGHT OF BEEN SINCE I WENT TO BASEBALL GAME AND WASN'T REALLY ACTIVE TOO MUCH YESTERDAY BUT I DID STILL HAVE QUITE A BIT OF WALKING AROUND AND THERE SHOULD OF BEEN SOME STEPS REGISTERED.

I DID CHANGE MY PASSWORD FOR MY FITNESS PAL THIS MORNING BASED ON THE RECENT HACK AND OUR BEING INFORMED TO BUT THAT SHOULDN'T HAVE IMPACTED YESTERDAYS ACTIVITY?

HELP?!?!?!

Hi KevinKroencke,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. In reviewing your account, I can see the same thing that you are reporting, and that no activity has synced from Fitbit to your account. Would you please try to unlink and relink using these exact steps to see if we can kick the sync into gear?

First, log into your Fitbit account, click the gear icon and choose “settings”.

Once inside the settings, click the Applications tab and locate MyFitnessPal. Once you find MyFitnessPal click “revoke” access.

Once you revoke access on Fitbit you will need to go back to MyFitnessPal and relink.

Additionally, once relinked please make sure you have Fitbit chosen as your primary step source within the MyFitnessPal app, which could be causing the adjustment not to come through. Would you please select Steps from the app menu and choose Fitbit as your primary step source.

It’s also worth noting that we’ll be completing some maintenance on the integration later this morning, during which data will not sync. You can get updates on the maintenance and timeline at this featured post.
