Giving access to My blog LGLAustin — Apr 18, 2018 05:58AM PDT

How can I give my friends or other members access to "My Blog?" I've set the settings to be viewed by all members already. How do they find it?

Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. The blog URL for each member is http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/<YOURUSERNAME>

As an example, our co-founder’s official MyFitnessPal blog is visible at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/mike

If you set your blog visibility to “Members Only” then users must be logged in to MyFitnessPal to view the contents of your blog. Similarly, the “Friends Only” setting requires users to be logged into MyFitnessPal, and also to be on your Friends list.

You can select who sees your blog by going to your blog and then to your “Tools” then to “Preferences” then go to the left of the page, and under “Your blog is visible by” select the best option for you.

If a blog is available to everyone, and thus requires no MFP login, it may also eventually be indexed by search engines such as Google.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions or feedback.

Regards,
Bruce
