combine 2 accounts trici42 — Aug 06, 2018 08:39AM PDT

How do I combine 2 accounts? Registered w/1 email, which was then disabled. Registered new account w/new email rather than changing email on the first account. Now I have 2 accounts, one w/an active email and the other w/inactive email; however, the one w/inactive email contains all of my information, including logging in and tracking for over 1000 consecutive days. Don't want to lose this information.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Currently there is not a way to merge two accounts, but we will definitely consider it for a future update. Thank you for the suggestion.

We recommend continuing to use the account with the most useful data on it. If you need to reset your password please visit https://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/forgot_password.

If you wish to update the email on your older account with your data on it, you will first need to delete the new account tied to your new email address.

To delete your account, you can sign in online at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/login. Once you’ve logged in, click “My Home” then “Settings” then “Delete account.”

Within our iOS app, go to More, then Help, then Delete Account

Within the Android app go to the Menu, then Help, then Delete account

I have the same problem, but due to the 2 accounts the account I am using does not allow me to use the other email due to that it is locked in the other account

You will need to first delete the account you are not using to free up the email address.

To delete your account, you can sign in online at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/login. Once you’ve logged in, click “My Home” then “Settings” then “Delete account.”

Within our iOS app, go to More, then Help, then Delete Account

Within the Android app go to the Menu, then Help, then Delete account

Please note if you delete your account it cannot be recovered. Please also note it may also take our outbound email system up to 72 hours to remove you from our email rotation.
