Thank you for taking the time to contact us. It sounds like you may have accidentally clicked the “sign up” button instead of “log in.” Once you have an account, when signing back in, you should only be asked for your email and password, not the steps to create an account. Can you click the “back” button on the top left until you get back to the original page? Then click the “log in” button, at the bottom. This should allow you to enter your email address and password to sign in.
If not, you may want to try force closing the app and then go back into it and try again. To force close on an iOS app:
If you are running iOS 7 or higher, to force close, double-click the hardware Home button. A row of application icons should appear on the bottom of the screen with pages floating above them. Scroll through them and find MyFitnessPal, then hold your finger on the page above the MyFitnessPal icon and swipe up towards the top of the screen to ‘throw’ the page and completely close the app.
If you are using an Android, go to “Settings”, then “Applications”, then “Manage Applications”. Find “MyFitnessPal” in your list of apps and tap on it, then tap the “Force Close” button. You can then hit the Home key on your Android phone and reopen MyFitnessPal.
If need be, you may want to try resetting your password to see if that helps.
We hope this helps, but if you are still having a problem, please let us know. In the meantime, thank you so much for using the program. We wish you all the success in reaching and maintaining all of your diet and fitness goals.
All the best,
