i am trying to upgrade to premium and it doesnt work mwilde1 — Sep 12, 2018 07:38AM PDT

I have tried to upgrade to premium on my laptop and my phone. I have tried two different credit cards. I get an error saying that a subscription cant be created. I sent an email to cust. service with no response.

Hi there,

We are truly sorry you are having problems signing up for Premium. It looks like there may be an issue with the card you are using, as we are showing a failure from the bank on our end.

If the card has the wrong billing address from what you have on file with your bank, it will result in an error. Also, if the card is not using the same currency denomination as your account, it will also fail.

For now, we have deleted your cards on file with us. We would recommend checking with your bank to make sure that your billing info is the same you are inputting, and see if they have any recommendations as to why the payment would not process.

Please also check here to make sure your account information is correct: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/user/edit

Once you have verified everything, please then wait 24 hours before attempting again, as our system will put a 24 hour hold once a payment has initially failed.

Or if you have access to our iOS or Android app, you may want to try purchasing Premium directly from the Google Play or App Store.

Please let us know if you continue to have problems 24 hours from now.

I went to http://www.myfitnesspal.com/user/edit and changed my city and zip code. Now, I have tried two different cards and neither worked. Both cards work just fine every where else. I have used the today at other locations with no issues.

Thanks for getting back to us. As mentioned before, our system will put a 24 hour hold once a payment has initially failed. You will have to wait 24 hours from now before you can try again.

If after 24 hours, you still have an issue, lease let us know.
