Merge Accounts lani2j — Oct 03, 2018 05:59AM PDT

I inadvertently created a second account within the last month and am now finding my original account that I had. Is there a way to merge both accounts into one?

Thanks for following up with us. If you know the email address or username associated with the older account, please try using the forgot password option on the sign in screen. This will send you a password reset email to the email linked with the account. If you no longer have access to the associated email account, please click here to reach us via email so we may assist you further.

If you do not remember the email address or username, but you have more than one email account, try using that forgot password option and entering your other email addresses. If there is an account associated, it will send you a password reset email to that address.

Unfortunately, we need either the email address associated with the account or the username in order to locate an account in our system. please do not post your email address or any personal information here in the public forum. If you do not remember either of these but have friends that also user MyFitnessPal, you might reach out to them to see if they see your username in their account’s friends list.

Warm Regards,
Logan

Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Currently there is not a way to merge two accounts, but we will definitely consider it for a future update. Thank you for the suggestion.

We recommend continuing to use the account with the most useful data on it. If you need to reset your password please visit https://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/forgot_password.

Please let us know if you have any other problems or questions. We wish you all the success in reaching and maintaining all of your diet and fitness goals.

All the best,
Bruce

I believe I have two accounts. I couldn't get into my older account so I created a new one so that I could sync it with ETP. I would like to delete the new one so that I can use the past food choices. How do I do that?

It would be great if you could merge two accounts as I did the same thing as the original poster did. Please let us know when that feature is available. Thanks!

same!

actually I did not realize multiple apps using single credentials....very frustrating as this situation forces me to either abandon history and start over on one app or continue to manually update information across both apps
