Link between MFP and Garmin Connect is broken and cannot be relinked via MFP Apps page; what to do? G8rRay — Oct 05, 2018 08:12AM PDT

I cannot find how to link from Garmin Connect to MFP; and, on the MFP Apps page the button to link MFP to Garmin Connect takes me to Garmin Connect but does not link to Garmin Connect. On Thursday morning, I disconnected from Garmin Connect, via MFP Apps page, and tried to reconnect, but without success. I've tried repeatedly to reconnect today (Friday), also without success. ++*++

Also, since yesterday morning, MFP is not linking to TrainingPeaks.

Please accept our sincerest apologies for any problems you have been having getting Garmin linked to MyFitnessPal.

If you would not mind trying the following (If needed please reference attached image):

- Start on the Garmin Connect site
- Select Daily Summary in the left side menu
- Followed by “Calories In/Out”
- Then click on the blue text toward the bottom to link to MyFitnessPal OR if you have the “Calories In/Out” tile setup on your dashboard you can click the blue Connect to MyFitnessPal option there.

Logan, I followed your instructions; the blue text (within a box) is in the middle of the page and nothing happens when I click within that box. The text reads, "Unable to Sync
Right now we aren't able to sync with your MyFitnessPal account. It looks like something temporary, so please try again later."

Also, in MFP (, when I click on "GET" for Garmin Connect, it takes me to that same page in Garmin Connect with the same text that I indicated above.

NOTE, ALSO: MFP is no longer syncing with Training Peaks, since Thursday morning (2018-10-04).

Thanks for following up with us. We’ve opened a ticket with our our partner team, asking them to take a look. We are currently not seeing an issue with our API in general so you may also want to let the team at Garmin Connect know that you’re having trouble so they can double-check things on their end as well.

Logan, I contacted Garmin initially and they told me to submit a request to MFP. As of Monday afternoon, syncing with Training Peaks was restored and is working again.

I will submit a request to Garmin Connect, though. As of a couple of minutes ago, the connection/syncing between MFP and Garmin Connect, still, is the same (with no differences) as my most recent post to you.

Logan, I contacted Garmin, as I indicated that I would do, and they walked me through Troubleshooting and Reconnecting to MFP. So, MFP and Garmin Connect are, now, re-synced!!

Thank you for your help with my issue, which is resolved to my satisfaction.
