Daily Summary and News Feed no longer displaying on my office computer Jeffrey_S — Oct 11, 2018 03:43AM PDT

Within the past week or so, the Home Page of the website has not displayed any content. The Daily Summary shows a grey box instead of my profile picture, and 4 gray circles instead of my macro-nutrient summary. Also, the News Feed is completely blank. I've tried 3 different browsers, all with the same results. The Food Diary page seems to be unaffected.

On my Android device and on my computers at home, the Home Page and associated data display normally.

I'm suspecting that something changed on the MFP website that is being blocked by filters here at work, at least partially. I don't really have the ability to test that here, though, but can submit new firewall rules if I know what to include in that rule (presuming this is the issue).

I'd appreciate any insight into what may be causing this lack of functionality. The social/community aspect of MFP is a big motivator for me, and I feel really cut off from that right now.

Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Would you mind trying a couple of things for us to see if they help resolve your issue?

Could you first try clearing your cache or deleting your cookies? The following links should assist you with either:

EMPTYING YOUR BROWSER’S CACHE

If you are using Safari 6 or later, the correct instructions are here

If you are using Internet Explorer 8 or higher, please note that you should uncheck the “preserve data for favorite websites” option if you have MyFitnessPal favorited or bookmarked.

CLEARING YOUR BROWSER’S COOKIES

If clearing your cookies and cache does not resolve the problem, will you please try unplugging any internet equipment (routers, modems, wifi stations) for at least 30 seconds to give them a chance to power cycle? If your router is to blame, this should sort things out.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions or feedback.

Regards,
Bruce
