Unable to connect to the server message neruda1219 — Nov 05, 2018 02:53PM PST

I've tried everything including resetting my password and closing my phone. Why do I get a message that says "unable to connect to the server" even though I have wifi and nothing changed? My fitness pal charged my account today and then my iPhone app suddenly required me to log in. It didn't accept my password so I reset it but I am still having the same issue. I don't want to delete the app and lose my data.

What is happening? I can log onto my account here on my laptop but that's not how I use the product.
