Facebook Shares Lazee_Bones — Nov 06, 2018 07:04AM PST

I have had my Facebook account linked since I began using MFP about 2 years ago. For the last 3 months, none of my entries have been sharing to Facebook, regardless of whether I enter on the website or the Android app.

Thanks for following up with us. We’ve opened a ticket and asked our engineers to investigate. Facebook has also made some changes this yer that may be affecting things, so it may not be a quick fix. We really appreciate you bringing this to our attention and especially your patience as we look into it.

Hey thanks for posting your question. Once you have linked your MyFitnessPal and Facebook accounts, you may opt to have some activities on MyFitnessPal generate a Facebook post. In order for an activity to generate a post on Facebook, it must also be set to create a status update on your MyFitnessPal News Feed. In addition, your Diary must be public in order for food and exercise related updates to post to Facebook.

Once the following items are set to generate News Feed Updates, they may be set to generate Facebook posts:

Posting a Status Update
Recording a weight loss (weight change and total weight lost are posted, not current weight
Logging a cardio exercise
Creating a blog post
Completing your diary for the day

To adjust your Facebook post settings:

On the Website:

Log in to the site at www.myfitnesspal.com. Mobile app users should log in using the same username and password they use in the app.
Once you’ve logged in click “My Home” then “Settings” then “Facebook/Twitter sharing settings.” Be sure to save any changes you make.

In our Android, iPad and iPhone apps:

In the Menu (or “More” page) tap “Settings” then “Sharing & Privacy” then “Facebook Settings” then “Autopost MyFitnessPal Updates to Facebook.” The options will appear when you activate the settings.

Warm Regards,

Hi, Logan

I have double checked (again) to make sure that all the settings are set as you advised. Again, if you read my initial message, this is a problem that has been going on for several months now.

What is the next step to resolve this issue?
