Newly Created Items are not Showing in the Food Database rfmuckel — Nov 07, 2018 02:46AM PST

If you create a new public food item and then search for it in the database, it does not show up. It prompts you to add it to the database, and if you go through the steps to add it again it won't let you submit because an item already exists with that name/brand

Example:
I created an item with the name zztestrfm2 and brand zztestrfm2 today. I marked it as share publicly. After creating, I went to the database and searched for it but got no results. If I try to add it to the database again it won't let me

Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us and for bringing this to our attention. We are aware some user’s My Foods entries disappear on the website after they are edited and that new ones are not showing either. We hope to have a fix in place as soon as possible. For now, please note these entries will still show properly in the app.
