get exercise data from MFP to Apple Health dan_matiesanu — Dec 04, 2018 05:21AM PST

Is there a way to get exercise data from MFP to Apple Health? I have set up the HealthKit sync per instructions but there is no "write" option for exercise data to be written by MFP to HK. Is there some limitation here or am I missing something?
My use case is when I do an exercise that is not directly recorded by the phone or apple watch sensors and I need to enter it manually. I want to only enter it once and have it sync elswhere.
If the solution is to only enter it manually in Apple Health then that's fine but this doesn't seem to work either even though there is an option to write exercises from Apple Health to MFP.

Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Currently the integrations does not support exercise from MyFitnessPal to sync over to HealthKit, but we will definitely consider it for a future update. Thank you for the suggestion.

Can you let me know the exact steps you take when entering in a workout manually on HealthKit so we can take a closer look?

All the best,
