Calorie Step Adjustment problem MonkThief — Jan 11, 2019 05:32PM PST

So I keep getting this issue with my step calorie adjustment on app. At the start of the day I have the steps telling me how many calories I've burned by walking as normal, but then when I do a round of Fitness Boxing and enter the data into the app or the website it suddenly becomes negative calories and only after I put in a manual exercise into it. It didn't do this before around last week, so if anyone knows how to fix the problem I would appreciate it. It's on an iphone 5s, I try uninstalling/reinstalling it and everything and no luck in fixing this issue.

Thank you for contacting us with your question. If you click on the iOSCalorie Adjustment line in your diary, and then on Extra Calories Earned, we can look at the iOS calories burned vs the MyFitnessPal Calories Burned. In order to see an adjustment the iOS calories burned number must be higher. When you add an Boxing entry, you’ll notice that you are already getting for credit for the exercise’s calorie burn in your calories remaining summary. In your adjustment detail it gets added to the MyFitnessPal number, reducing your iOS calorie adjustment by the amount of your Boxing entry, to avoid receiving double credit for the activity. If this makes the MyFitnessPal number greater the adjustment will go back to 0 until the iOS number once again passes it.

Kind Regards,
