Fit bit Syncing to My Fitness Pal grundleofkids — Jan 17, 2019 10:04PM PST

I have been trying to sync my Fit bit with My Fitness Pal for the past week. I have read reviews and instructions online. None of it has been working. The app says my Fit bit has been synced but the calorie adjustments won't show up in My Fitness Pal. I have changed my diary setting, disconnected and reconnected, I have even uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Nothing has worked. If someone could walk me through the best option from here that would be great.

Hi there,

We have refreshed the Fitbit connection from our end. Can you revoke access from Fitbit’s end and see if that will help? To do this, log in at www.fitbit.com and click the gear icon, then Settings>Applications. Click Revoke Access for MyFitnessPal.

This should refresh your link on both sides, instead of just one. You can then link them again at https://www.myfitnesspal.com/apps/show/30.

Once relinked, please be sure to set Fitbit as the Steps source once again.

Please let us know if you see any changes.

All the best,
Bruce

I have the same exact problem as listed above, however, when I follow your advice and go into Fitbit dashboard and revoke access to MyFitnessPal, then click on the link you provided and try to relink them, it says, "Another MyFitnessPal account has already been linked to this fitbit account. Only one account may be linked at once." These are both brand new accounts and have never been linked before, so this shouldn't be happening.

Hi MeganParsons3

Would you please provide your fitbit ID# so we may try a search with that on our end? You are welcome to provide your ID# here, keep in mind that it is a public forum, however, if you would prefer to share it privately, please click here to reach us via email instead.

Steps to get user ID#
1. Log in at http://www.fitbit.com and click on your profile photo.
2. This will take you to your Fitbit.com Profile and now copy the URL from your browser’s address field and paste it in the email reply

Your fitbit ID will look something like this: www.fitbit.com/user/1234A

Kind regards,

Hi abybagg

It looks like the Fitbit got stuck trying to link to your account. I have removed the Fitbit so that you may correctly link it now.

Please let us know if you run into any other issues.

Bruce
