Frustrated - steps track but not exercise when using MFP and an apple watch nicolemengel — Feb 11, 2019 01:12PM PST

Even though I have set negative calorie adjustment so mfp should be catching the calories burned/exercise from my apple watch, the only time any exercise is recognized is if it is a walk. no strength or cardio exercise are recognized even though I have allowed mfp access to all of my health features. can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?
thanks so much

Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Currently some exercises performed in the Apple Watch will not sync to MyFitnessPal since we do not have a matching exercise in our database. We are working on updating our database so that these exercises can sync in the future.

You can check our article located here for more information on what exercises will sync

If you have an exercise that should sync but is not, please let me know the name of the exercise so we can take a closer look.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions or feedback.

Regards,
Bruce
