Garmin Connect - Syncing Issue ErinCoury — Jun 05, 2019 12:52PM PDT
I am having an issue syncing my Garmin ForeRunner235 to MFP.
I have attempted to try and link it on my Apple iPhone XS Max and through the website.
When I'm using an internet browser on my computer I go to Apps --- Garmin Connect and click on 'Get' --- which takes me to the Garmin Connect website. I then log in with my information and it tells me that the page I am trying to connect with no longer exists
YET Garmin Connect's website shows that I am linked to MFP -- so explain that one???
So, at this point, I have a new exercise watch, that shows on Garmin's end that I'm linked, but I cannot add it to MFP to use as a mobile device to show my step count, exercise etc on MFP's end.
Has anyone else had this issue?

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. It does not look like Garmin is successfully linked to your MyFitnessPal account. Would you please disconnect Garmin from within your Garmin account, and then re-initiate the link between the two programs.
Please note: linking had to be initiated from within the latest version of the Garmin Connect app. To do so, from within the Garmin app, navigate to the Menu Bar (Android) or tap the More tab (iOS). Next, tap Settings>3rd Party Apps>MyFitnessPal. Swipe through the screens and tap the Get Started button at the end, and then Link Accounts.
From their website, https://connect.garmin.com/en-US/, you will also start under the Menu Bar by clicking the three line icon in the upper left. Next select Calories In/Out where you should see the option to connect to MyFitnessPal.
Once you have connected on the Garmin side, we recommend going to our main website at https://www.myfitnesspal.com/, then to the Apps tab, and double check on the right hand side of the page under “Your Apps” to make sure Garmin is now listed there.
Hope this helps! We wish you the best of luck in meeting and maintaining all your fitness goals!
