I have IOS and have enabled negative tracking. I am not understanding the negative. I worked out for 55 minutes today, burned 479 calories(per health app in IOS) and myfitness pal shows -21 for exercise. I thought it would show 479?

Thank you for contacting us with your question. If you click on the iOSCalorie Adjustment line in your diary, and then on Extra Calories Earned, we can look at the iOS calories burned vs the MyFitnessPal Calories Burned. In order to see an adjustment the iOS calories burned number must be higher. When you add an individual exercise entry, you’ll notice that you are already getting for credit for the exercise’s calorie burn in your calories remaining summary. In your adjustment detail it gets added to the MyFitnessPal number, reducing your iOS calorie adjustment by the amount of your individual exercise entry, to avoid receiving double credit for the activity. If this makes the MyFitnessPal number greater the adjustment will go back to 0 until the iOS number once again passes it.
