linking to fitbit lisarichards9 — Aug 13, 2019 05:44AM PDT

I have tried linking to fitbit and it comes up with the error message

Another MyFitnessPal account has already been linked to this Fitbit account. Only one account may be linked at once.

I have gone onto fitbit and deleted the account and then tried to connect it from Myfitnesspal and it continuously comes up with this message.

It is possible that I did have an old MFP account that was linked but I no longer have access to that email address to delete it!

Any ideas?

I have just tried again and left 15 minutes in between disconnecting and trying to reconnect and I am still getting the same message.

Steps to get user ID#
1. Log in at http://www.fitbit.com and click on your profile photo.
2. This will take you to your Fitbit.com Profile and now copy the URL from your browser’s address field and paste it in the email reply

Your fitbit ID will look something like this: www.fitbit.com/user/1234A
