App lost connection chrispblake — Aug 13, 2019 11:58AM PDT

I have been using MyFitnessPal for about a year. I link MFP to my Apple Watch (and iPhone) to track my activity. Each week the weekly summary would show my daily steps. Then the summary of July 15 through July 21 showed steps through Friday and then quit. It has not shown my steps since then including last weeks. Since then I have also downloaded Accupedo Pro and connected it to my iPhone and it not only started working for me but also picked up my history. I was thinking that would help but MFP web site does not show any app connected. I also just checked my Apple watch and launched the MFP app and it shows zero steps for today. My activity app on the same watch indicates almost 2,000 steps. Any idea what is going on?

Thank you,

Hi there,

Could you try a fresh reinstall of the MyFitnessPal app and relink your Apple Watch and HealthKit to see if that will help with future exercise syncs?

Once reinstalled, in MyFitnessPal tap More>Steps>Apple Watch and you should be taken to a page to turn some Categories On. Turn them on and then tap More>Settings>Sharing & Privacy>HealthKit Sharing and you’ll be taken to another page to turn On more Categories. This should relink your Apple Watch and HealthKit.

Best,
Opal
