Refund for subscription cancellation benedictvas — Aug 17, 2019 10:38AM PDT
I recently downloaded the app and subscripted for a free trial, which was automatically extended to 1-year Premium membership at the end of the trial period. I was charged for this yesterday (16 August). However, my intention was not to subscribe for a Premium membership and I cancelled my membership immediately after I noticed the charge. Therefore, I would like to ask for a refund. What is the procedure for it?
Thank you in advance.

Thank you for following up with us. Again our sincere apologies for the issues that you are experiencing. We will definitely do everything we can to get the issue resolved as efficiently as possible.
If you do decide to cancel your Premium, you will want to do so using the same platform on which you originally paid. As noted upon purchase. You can cancel auto renewal at anytime and your current subscription will continue until that initial period has lapsed.
Since you purchased the subscription via the Google Play Store, you would need to contact their Support directly regarding any payment concerns, as there is no way for us to have access to that payment on our end.
We hope this is helpful. Thank you for using MyFitnessPal and we wish you success with your health and nutritional goals.

My premium subscription renewed in July and I no longer wish to use this application. Can I get a prorated refund credited back to my charge card? I used the website to sign up for the subscription.

When we view the account status for this username, it is currently not showing as being associated with a MyFitnessPal Premium subscription. Are you by chance referring to another account?
