App Not Syncing Properly when Adjusting Food michsam23 — Aug 21, 2019 09:38AM PDT

The past week I've noticed that when I adjust the food in the Android app (changing how much or what I ate), the app and the website are having issues syncing up with one another, and so incorrect calories totals get sent to Fitbit.

For example, if I log 4oz of pasta for dinner, and then I go back and change that to 3oz in the app, the app will show the 3oz that I changed it to.... but the website will show the 3oz of pasta AS WELL AS the original 4oz of pasta that I logged... so I have 2 separate logs for the pasta on the website, totaling 7oz. I then have to access the website in order to correct this, as for some reason the app will not show this right away (sometimes it takes a few minutes of repeated force syncing to show, sometimes it finally syncs up a while later [30+min]).

The same thing will happen if I delete a food - if I logged 4oz of pasta because thats what I planned to eat, and then end up not eating said 4oz of pasta because I changed my meal plans and delete the pasta from my meal, the app will show the pasta as being deleted, but the website will show whatever new food I add IN ADDITION to the original 4oz of pasta that was logged.

I am running the latest version of the app (V 19.8.0) on a Galaxy S10. The app last updated on Aug 9, and this issue only started sometime after that latest update.

I have the same issue. Sometime I try to delete the incorrect data from Fitbit, and try to sync it again, hoping to bring the proper data, but unfortunately is not working that way. I need manually to put the calorie differences at the end of the day.
